I have been practicing yoga for almost 15 years and teaching since 2012. For me, yoga is more than just a physical practice, it is completely embedded into the fabric of who I am and I am very grateful to have this beautiful practice in my life.

My yoga journey began with Hatha yoga where I discovered the deep connection of breath and body & when I moved to Vancouver I discovered my dearest yoga discipline - Vinyasa yoga.

I fell in love with the graceful dance of breath and movement and I was completely hooked! I soon got a job at one of the local yoga studios and practiced all the time. I would quite often take a class before and after my shift on the front desk and I was able to explore many types of yoga and practice with a huge range of talented teachers at different studios all over the city - it was amazing and a special time that really shaped my yoga path.

In 2012 I took my 200hr Teacher Training with YYoga, it was a wonderfully comprehensive and tangible training that provided me with all of the tools I needed to teach safe, thoughtful and intelligently sequenced vinyasa classes. I moved home to Scotland soon after and began teaching in Edinburgh. In 2014 I was honored to become an ambassador for lululemon who kept me stocked up with amazing yoga gear and took me on some amazing adventures, thank you always lululemon fam!

Over the years I have been inspired and learned from many amazing teachers. I would like to honor the following teachers as they truly enhanced my practice & my understanding of yoga whilst I lived in Vancouver ;  Sjannie McInnes, Clara Roberts-Oss, Carolyn Budgell, Kristen Campbell, Anila Lacroix, Brant Forrester, Alex Mazerolle,  Suzanne Faith Slocum Gori, Ryan Leier, Megan Currie .

Also the beautiful teachers I have had the pleasure of studying with and learning from since including; Claire Missingham, Dulce Aguilar, Jamie Clarke, Jambo Throng, Elena Brower, Judy Cameron, Ateeka, Demelza Feltham, Evelyn Hurtado, Nadine Watton - Thank you!

In 2015 my dear friend Demelza and I founded Mudra Yoga, since then we have co-taught many classes, workshops and as of 2017 we began running our own Yoga Teacher Trainings in Edinburgh. Teaching others to become Yoga Teachers has been an absolute privilege and a responsibility I have not taken lightly, it has been a humbling process to pass on some of the teachings of yoga both on and off the mat and watching others flourish with more knowledge about this beautiful ancient practice and it’s life philosophy.

In November 2019, myself and my good friend and student Moira Mcfarlane opened Lane Yoga at The Shore, Leith. A wonderfully vibrant and inclusive space. Shortly after the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and we moved online. Since then we have taught thousands of classes over zoom and provided an online community that helped so many through a very difficult couple of years. We finally closed the online platform at the end of 2021, I will always be proud of what we collectively created together during that time.

In Summer 2021 I moved back to the Highlands just before the birth of my second son. I am now teaching in the Drumnadrochit area and online.
